So as if Leah didn’t all ready spoil me enough taking pictures during our Enchanted Forest visit, she also did a family shoot for us in an apple orchard out in Kelowna!! I can’t think of a better way to remember a fun family vacation than with a photo shoot. Everyone should take Leah on their family vacation. Seriously, she’ll go. Lol. And she babysits too!
And yes, me and Derick even got to act like a couple in love for some pictures which was fun fun. :)
Thanks to my Mom for making the kids look and smile at the camera. And thanks Dad for patiently waiting in the car for your Blizzard at DQ after, (and for your extra large frosty at Wendy’s). Yup, he hit up both places right in a row. :)
I seriously couldn’t love these pictures any more Leah!! Or you. :) Thanks a million over and over!! Love how in the photo top left Van is posing with an apple and Boston has just thrown in the towel. I didn’t totally plan the reddish fall colors with the apples, but it sure turned out cute!! I love that I’m all ready positive one day Boston will ask me why on earth I ever dressed him in red pants and a vest for pictures. Lol. Because it’s CUTE Boston!!
I got my new suede ankle boots at TJ Maxx and I’m so in love!! And we also didn’t plan Derick’s shoes to match my pants, but aren’t they fun? :) Only wish Derick’s black tee shirt was even tighter on his hot muscles. Lol.
Cue the Boston show! It was his turn for a portrait, and he just started being Boss, throwing out these most hilarious facial expressions. We couldn’t stop laughing and it was all Leah could do but just keep snapping pictures.
Baker gave us ONE picture, then he was off. :) Wish I’d remembered to pack the kids’ hair gel but oh well!
I saved a couple family pictures for our Christmas card, there was only one with everyone looking/smiling! Good thing that’s all you need! I actually just made a shutterfly book out of the kids’ studio pics taken earlier, the enchanted forest pictures and these apple orchard pictures through the free 8X8 book offer Zulilly had that Jennie told me about. It’s still available until the end of September so go do it! Just scroll down Zulilly’s home page a bit to see it. :) And I think my blog’s URL is having a tough time updating…if someone has either successfully or unsuccessfully subscribed to the new blog, could you let me know? I would love that! Or don’t, that’d be fine too. :)
