Ah! So many changes! We live five minutes outside of Cardston now on the cute little acreage we shared and yes, the house still looks exactly the same as my last post! Lol. Well, some things are different, but it’s certainly not liveable. Except we’re living here, and doing a good job of it too if I don’t say so myself. I’ll share some pictures soon of our fun little “studio apartment” as I’ve been referring to it. Ha ha.

Ok, so on our way to Kelowna in August, we stopped at the Enchanted Forest (which is close to Sicamous I think?), and it was so fun! It really was so surreal in there…seriously enchanted feeling! The kids loved each little display and it was fun because you could pretty much just roam wherever you wanted and feel like you were in your own little storybook. :)

The cow jumped over the moon. :)

The kids just watched Hook last night and loved it..too bad they didn’t see it right before we came here. Loved the rainbow, loved all the ginormous trees made into insanely cute little houses complete with furniture. Loved EVERYTHING about the enchanted forest.

More than anything, loved this little seriously hidden lake full of LEGIT lily pads!! With paddle boats you could just jump in and roam around in. To quote my sister (we were lucky enough to have Leah and my parents with us for part of it), it was straight up out of The Notebook…except thankfully without the rain! And seriously, Leah taking all these pictures for us while I just got to enjoy the entire thing camera free? Heavenly!!

Of all the changes, the biggest most exciting one for me is that my big handsome 5 year-old loves school. :) He actually rode the bus to/from school ALL BY HIMSELF. My proudest moment of my entire life thus far, not even kidding. And he stayed the whole day at school with no scared and nervous breakdowns and just loved it, an answer to my prayers! It’s all I could think/worry about during the entire move, and I still sort of can’t believe it!
I’m laughing so hard here because someone mocked me for being so painfully awkward in front of the camera. At least it got a real smile. :)
A yellow brick road? Seriously cute!
Ok, so another big change and a piece of really exciting news for me is that a few months ago I was hired by ProPhoto to design blog templates for them!! (Because I needed another job, right? Lol.) I got to switch from Blogger to ProPhoto! Yes!! Don’t get me wrong, I actually do love Blogger…but as a designer, ProPhoto just gets me giddy inside. Everything looks the same for now, but finally everyone should be able to actually SEE it, and I’m sure it will change now that I have free reign to finally do what I want since ProPhoto’s setup is so great! Anyway, so that’s exciting for me…anyone who is subscribed to my blog, that shouldn’t change. It’s still, but I’m sure some wrinkles will be getting worked out as it goes, so please let me know if something isn’t working right!! It took me all week to get it changed over and it’s been so hard to not be able to blog. :)
